     Hey guys, I'm back with a few more updates! I realized I had yet to figure out a location as well as specific dates for shooting my film opening. I knew I had to find a location that appeared to be desolate in order to fit the theme of a dystopian society. I had already figured out my casts, but I had yet to figure out when exactly I would even begin filming. I had a vague idea that I would need to film in a public space where it would be fairly easy to gain permission to film on their grounds, as any private location had the possibility of causing me trouble and tedious altering. I had decided upon filming at a location fairly close to my house, Markham Park where there is a forest trail farther into the park as well as locations where there are minimal to no people.      Production Design!!!! Ok so,  I'm really excited about creating my film, but deep down I know that this is the most time consuming part of my entire process and one that requires the most planning. Yet here I am attempting to create an entire dystopian society on little to no budget for this film opening. I am hoping that my characters can do the majority of the work when it comes to depicting the conflict and the clear difference from contemporary society and the future in which chaos is commonplace. To expand on the idea that I have previously mentioned in my last blog posting, the zooming in on a news report through a T.V and show the perspective of what is happening on screen in front of the man.      I think I have successfully conjured up my vision for what I want this film to look like on screen. I think filming the scenes and having visual representations has given me an idea of how I want to string all of the footage together. I know I want the brainwashing scene to be strewn in between all of the forest clips as it would act as a cross cutting technique that would imply that both scenes were happening at the same time. I did not capture any dialogue during the entirety of my filming process and that is because of the fact that I wish to do a voice over of different "news reportings." While filming I realized that the brainwashing itself was not necessarily clear enough. That is why my first voice over will be said with a voice alterer that will deepen and slow down my voice and implement key phrases over and over again in order to show that this is in fact conditioning the people to think alike in racist mindsets.
